2014 has in many ways shaped up to be the year of Davido as the "Aye" crooner keeps attaining new heights.
Fresh
out of his MTV Base and BET award win, Davido arrived Kigali, Rwanda
for the country's annual Liberation Day celebration and the 21-year old
was received by none other than the first family. Rwandan President Paul
Kagame in the company of his wife and children were on hand to receive
Davido at the airport who was the headline act for the celebration.
The
concert which held at the Amahoro National Stadium had a crowd of over
60,000 fans who were thrilled by Davido's back-to-back hits including
'Gobe', 'Skelewu' and 'Aye' . Also in attendance were 9 East African
presidents including Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete and Kenyan
President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Davido was also reportedly later invited to perform 'Aye' at the president's home.
